Abbi falls which is located in coorg district is one of the beautiful and famous water falls in coorg district. It is just around 8 kms from Madikeri.
Madikeri is a famous tourist destination which is very well known for its beautiful nature and cool weather. The waterfalls is situated in the mid of the dense green forest, and hence it is cool even in the hot summer.
As in every water falls, it would be great to visit here during monsoon or just after the monsoon, i.e., during september - december. Here getting down near the falls and playing in the water is not allowed. One hanging bridge is there right opposite to the waterfall from where you can have a beautiful look of the falls.
Small shop is there where you can get some snacks and water etc. For accomodation you
have to come back to Madikeri.
Mandalapatti, Tadiyandamol, Iruppu falls and raja seat are the nearby places of interest.
