Mandagadde is a small yet beautiful Bird Sanctury which is around 270 km from Bengaluru. It is located in Shimoga district and only 20 km from Shimoga. It is on the way to Teerthahalli from Shimoga.
A small island , Hundreds of birds sitting on the trees - a treat to the eyes. There will be different types of birds in the season. June to December is the best time to visit any Bird Sanctury. It is a perfect destination for Bird Photographers.
Kuppalli and Tyavarekoppa Lion Sanctury are the nearby places to visit.
For food and lodging you have to go to Shimoga though small shops are there in mandagadde.
